One of the many gifts we, as Catholics, recognize and embrace is the Communion of Saints.
We often dedicate ourselves and our actions to Jesus through the Saints and in particular through Mary. In the morning offering we pray to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary as we offer ourselves, works and actions of the day. This year the Church’s focus is on Saint Joseph and the example he gave us of how he allowed himself to be used by God and how he was obedient to the will of Our Father. In July of this year we will be offering a 33-day journey into the life of St. Joseph as an example of faith and the call to trust and faithfulness. It is an opportunity for us to learn from a man who never wavered in his dependence on the love and mercy of God. It will be 33 days of study and prayer which will lead us to confidently surrender and trust in our God, the God who is good and love.
If you would like to join us on this journey to meet St. Joseph, please contact the rectory so we can order the necessary books. The cost of the books is $15.00 and we will have them before we begin the program on July 15th
